Caloundra, Queensland, Australia is a lovely, charming
seaside city of 20,000 on the more southern coast of Queensland. It is on the
southern cusp of what is considered the beginning of the Sunshine Coast.
Caloundra is a popular vacation destination and holiday resort area, and has a
great variety of hotels and resorts for the holiday traveler. Whatever

There are two beaches considered best in Caloundra - Bullock Beach and Golden

Rydges Oasis resort is an idyllic resort area on 10 acres of well manicured palm
gardens, located on North Street, Landsborough Parade, Golden Beach. It boasts
an a la carte restaurant, The Deck, situated on a lovely water lily pond. There
is a choice of rooms ranging from spa rooms to personal, individual apartments
and villas. Guest facilities abound, including tennis, pool, laundry, wireless
internet availability, and many others.

Caloundra hotels include Gemini Resort, also on Landsborough Parade, Golden
Beach. From here, as well as from other hotels along the beaches of Caloundra,
are kayaks, catamarans, and sailboards for hire. For those who love golf, this
will be like golf heaven, as there are two well-acclaimed golf courses nearby -
Caloundra Gold Course and Pelican Waters.
Mariner's Resort, 10 Saltair Street, is on King's Beach. It has many apartments
available also, 2-3 bedrooms, and even penthouses. From here, Steve Irwin's
Australia Zoo is within 20 minutes.
Belaire, 34 Minchinton Street, is a hotel that has an apartment modified for
disabled persons, and also has a spa suite among its luxury accommodations.
Rolling Surf Resorts, also on King's Beach, offers luxury apartments and many
amenities for vacationers' comfort and enjoyment.
